Pets and (ahem) Intimate Relationships Don’t Mix

I’ve had pets my entire life. In fact, the longest I’ve managed to go without one is three months. After my darling boy Shadow passed away, I swore I would never get another. He had stolen my heart so completely; I was devastated after his loss. My husband and I promised to stay fur-baby free, to travel and enjoy our time together.
